Asus Vivobook 14 review

I bought the ASUS VivoBook 14 with AMD Ryzen 5 R5-3500U, 8GB RAM and 512 GB SSD for 38,000. It came with Windows 10 preinstalled. It is good for the price range.

Pros:

• Good Processor
• There are dual noise cancelling microphones which is really good.
• The Vega graphics is decent
• An M.2 SSD with an optional SATA drive bay for Harddisk or 2nd SSD.
• Backlit keyboard
• Windows hello fingerprint sensor

Cons

• Poor RAM upgrade options couple with the fact that 2GB of RAM is taken by Graphics.
• No Ethernet port
• The keyboard layout is compact making the use of pageup, pagedown, home and end keys difficult.

The sound quality and brightness are okish. Make sure you are ok with a smaller screen and keyboard before you buy this laptop.
